Callisto Herbicide

Corn Cobs
Callisto® is a post-emergence corn herbicide designed to tackle the toughest broadleaf weeds in corn, such as waterhemp, velvetleaf, ragweeds, common lambsquarters and pigweed. Callisto has proven its value to growers year after year and acre by acre. In customer satisfaction surveys, Callisto leads the charts on every meaningful attribute including performance, residual control, flexibility, crop safety and consistency.

Performance
Callisto provides unprecedented control of more than 40 broadleaf weeds in corn with the added benefit of large crabgrass and broadleaf signalgrass control. Powered by mesotrione, a unique mode of action and the foundation of Callisto Plant Technology®, Callisto is an excellent tool for controlling weeds resistant to glyphosate, ALS-inhibiting and triazine herbicides. Callisto is a Resistance Fighter™ brand.

Residual Control
Callisto controls weeds by both foliar and residual activity. The foliar activity takes care of susceptible weeds that are present in the field at application, and the residual activity lasts up to four weeks — through crop canopy. Field tests show that no other product can match the residual control of Callisto. Even broadleaf species that germinate over an extended period of time, such as waterhemp and pigweed, are no match for Callisto.

Flexibility
Callisto offers growers flexibility of application timing as a tank mix partner or pre-emergence herbicide program, with a consistent low-use rate of 3.0 oz/A. Callisto may be applied up to 30-inch corn and can be tank mixed with many different post-emergence grass herbicides for combined grass and broadleaf weed control. Callisto is the post-emergence product of choice —even competitors recommend Callisto as part of their two-pass program.

Crop Safety
Herbicide performance is important, but it is crucial that weed control isn’t achieved at the cost of crop safety. Callisto offers best-in-class crop safety and has been adopted as the post-emergence product of choice for seed corn, yellow popcorn and sweet corn growers — a strong testament to its efficacy and unmatched crop safety.

Callisto owes its origins to the discovery of a natural herbicide secreted by the Callistemon plant. This is Callisto Plant Technology and it brings unprecedented broadleaf weed control and exceptional crop safety to Callisto.
