Greensboro, NC, USA, February 23, 2010— To celebrate the recent introduction of CruiserMaxx® Rice insecticide/fungicide seed treatment combination, Syngenta Seedcare™ announced a sweepstakes for a commissioned painting of the winner’s farm by renowned artist Bucky Bowles. Seventy-five second-place winners will receive a signed and numbered print of the painting. Participants also will be registered to win one of 50 Rich-N-Tone Steel Shot Short Barrel duck calls, the same brand used by World-Champion Duck Caller Mike Anderson. All participants also can download a free ringtone of Mike Anderson using his own Rich-N-Tone duck call and a free screensaver.

CruiserMaxx Rice is a combination of separately registered products: Cruiser® seed treatment insecticide, newly registered for use on rice, combined with Dynasty®, Maxim® 4FS and Apron XL® seed-delivered fungicides. The combination offers growers convenient protection against early-season insects, such as rice water weevil grape colaspis, chinch bugs, and thrips as well as protection against early-season seedling diseases such as seed-borne leaf blast.
